Argentina just declared a swine flu emergency. Kids in Buenos Aires have 4 weeks off from school. The health minister stepped down yesterday as well. Well at least I am not taking the dirty crowded subway. Oh wait yeah I am. Great.

  2. Wash your hands every 10 minutes - get a mask. By the way, I am not kidding.

  3. I am worried about many things now - I have looked at the news reports - people will stop showing up for work and there will be no food. This is a panic situation there - I would try to get a flight back to the US as soon as possible before all of the flights get booked with a mass exodus from the country.

  4. Hey Jon! Are you registered with the U.S. Embassy in Argentina? argentina.usembassy.gov/service/general-information.html You should definitely be registered JUST IN CASE you should need to get any help - medical or otherwise. Don't mess around with any flu symptoms - probably no reason to panic, but be safe!!! My cousin had to take Tamiflu because there was a break-out of the flu in her NYC pre-school...get meds sent from U.S. if you can!
